Functionality with a fresh look and feel

Reputable education provider IDP Education was after a strip out and refurbishment of an existing retail store on Lonsdale Street, Melbourne. They envisioned a funky new design that was cutting edge for the education sector, something unlike anything they’d seen before in their stores. Naturally, they called on us due to our outstanding reputation for functional yet visually striking commercial fit-outs.

We got to work immediately on designs we felt were engaging, bright and refreshing, to attract their international student clientele. The project’s joinery was put together by our bespoke joinery shop, with structures giving the space a clean, modernist and eclectic look and feel. Our team paired blonde timber with black and white wooden tables and separating walls, navy blue and electric orange soft furnishings and edgy pendant lights coupled with zesty green details to breath fresh air into the space. The project was met with good reception, and was officially opened by the mayor of Melbourne. IDP Education couldn’t be more impressed with how effortlessly we transformed the space and brought it into fresh and futuristic design.
