Perfectly precise project coordination

One of the biggest names in the automated logistics facility space, Synnex Australia, combined forces with us to work on DC2, a four-storey, 30-metre high bay facility to expand out from the existing 10,000sqm Lidcombe Stage 1 facility. We were put in charge of the project management of the construction and complete integration of the new automated distribution system – a mammoth task which required exact specifications to industrial-standard precision.

We constructed the reinforced concrete linking building in a completely live, working environment. Up to a hundred truck movements were required to be facilitated daily so the existing facility could remain efficient and unaffected at all times. Our team worked tirelessly to ensure the four-storey structure allowed access to the dispatch docks, which needed to be in full operation for the Stage 1 facility’s work schedule. Our industrial experts designed a unique and innovative temporary structure to ensure our client had all-weather access to their existing facility so as not to impinge on their daily workload. The results were incredible, and the client couldn’t be more satisfied with our timeliness and fast-paced effectiveness.
